Our most popular day tours and shore excursions . . .

  • Best of Scotland in a Day

Visit the mediaeval Stirling Castle, see the Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond, have lunch at a traditional pub and drive through the Rob Roy lands of The Trossachs (the Scottish Highlands in Miniature) and along the way see and photograph those cute long-haired Highland Cows (sorry, you can't take them home). And what better way to end your day than at a Scotch Whisky distillery learning how the amber nectar is crafted (and enjoy a wee dram to set you up for the trip back). A grand day out enjoying Scotlands finest scenery and food.

  • St. Andrews & the East Neuk Villages

Visit the home of Golf - walk alongside the Old Course and photograph the Swilcan Bridge. See the secret underground escape tunnel at St. Andrews Castle and visit the Cathedral. Spot the coffee shop where Prince William met Kate! Enjoy lunch overlooking the fairway at a traditional links course on the coast, and drop in to one of our charming traditional fishing villages. And once again a Scotch Whisky distillery on the way home. What more could you ask?

  • The West Highlands

Head north by the Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond, into the Scottish Highlands, visiting a charming church which is not what it seems and a ruined castle once home to a sept of the Campbell clan. On to Inveraray Castle, seat of the Dukes of Argyll, film location for an episode of "Downton Abbey". Lunch in the castle dining room where the menu features local produce personally selected by the present Duchess. Homeward through the stunning scenery of the Arrochar Alps by the aptly named "Rest and be Thankful" pass, and stopping at Scotland's most beautiful village.

  • "Outlander" film locations

Cranesmuir, Castle Leoch, Lallybroch, Black Jack, 1940's Inverness, and many many more. Bring the series to life

  • The Scottish Highlands in a day

All the way through the Highlands to Loch Ness - will you spot the monster? If you only have a day to spare this tour allows you to see as much of Scotland as possible. This is a long day but very worthwhile (NOTE: only suitable as a shore excursion if your ship is departing late evening or overnighting in port).
